Anyways, when the idea of putting kombucha in a smoothie first presented itself to me, I JUMPED on it. Skeptical at first, I instantly fell in love with it. If kombucha was cheaper, I think that it would be in every single one of my smoothies. It adds a particularly lovely fizz and kick to a smoothie that I’m a bit in love with.

And if you’re not a kombucha fan, sorry. I suppose today’s post only isn’t for you. (But consider trying it anyways! Maybe you’ll be surprised!…?).

Technically today is the last day of “Plantuary” but I truly hope to keep the whole foods, plant based recipes coming at you on a weekly basis. I’ve truly enjoyed it AND came up with SO many ideas for the month that I could probably keep it going all year. But, also, chocolate still exists, so:) We need a little chocolate around here, right?

In the meantime, I’m going to keep sipping on this Blueberry Kombucha Smoothie. I tried this exact recipe with spinach in it and it tastes great. In fact, it tastes exactly the same….only green. I think the crazy green color of smoothies is hard for people to get past sometimes, but once you do, it’s a great way to get some extra nutrients into your daily diet!

That’s all for today, folks. I hope that you have a lovely Tuesday! It’s a fine day here in Nashville:)

The recipe

Blackberry Kombucha Smoothie for the Table

Method

  1. 1

Add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth and creamy!
