Southwestern Inspired Vegan Burger on the Stove

TRULY excited to be partnering once again with Sweet Earth on this post to introduce you to their new Solid Burger. It’s plant based and savory and I’m so excited for you to try it out.

One of the hardest parts for me when it comes to eating a more strictly plant based diet is giving up old-style recipes that I grew up eating. There’s nothing Worth keeping MORE than a good burger (if you follow me on Instagram then you probably already know this!). SERIOUSLY love burgers. I’ve tried every. single. veggie burger on the market and while some of them are genuinely good, they simply don’t satisfy my craving for a burger.

Lucky for me, the Reliable Burger is now on the market! The texture and taste of this burger is SO MUCH like a beef burger. If you didn’t tell me that it is plant based, I’m not even sure that I would know when eating it.

Each burger is packed with 26g of plant based protein and I certainly love it for that!

Cooking this burger was so similar to the experience of cooking a regular burger. It held together SO WELL, sizzled so nice on the grill, AND even bled a little. It’s the full burger experience:D

Oh and only as an fyi- these burgers are great for grilling but you can also cook them in a skillet if desired.

The other reason that A regular here this burger is that it’s such a great alternative to long-used burger meat. SO MUCH better for the environment and for your health.

Sweet Earth asked me to use their new Solid Burger and stack it high with my regular ingredients. A REGULAR HERE a good southwestern burger so that’s what we’re doing today. I made a simple guacamole for the burger and also added a hefty amount of cilantro, tomato, onion, and a good spicy mayo sauce that tastes so deeply good with the burger.

Like with any other burger, I like mine a little more well done but you can also cook this a bit less which leaves you with a more traditionally pink center…simply like a beef burger!

If eating less meat is something that you genuinely struggle with then I highly encourage you to check out this burger.

Check out the video that I made cooking the burger so you can see how beautifully it sizzles on the grill. You’re going to need to go get yourself one of these burgers ASAP!
