Today I’m partnering with Duda Farm Fresh Foods! I’m using their fresh and crispy celery to pair with this tasty dip!
Celeryis high in fiber and full of vitamins and minerals and only overall such a great kitchen staple! Even better, Dandy ® fresh-cut celery is naturally sweeter, crispier, and less stringy than other brands on the grocery store shelves!

Dandy® is also running a genuinely fun sweepstakes right now called Dip It to Win It where you can win some genuinely great prizes! Gear up for game day and win some great prizes including a $1000 gift card!
I grew up eating french onion dip and have always been truly obsessed with it! I’ve tried making it at home a few different ways and I truly love how this high protein version turned out! it uses one of my all time regular ingredients:)

Ingredients in this dish
- Silken tofu to add protein and creaminess
- Sour cream for tang
- LOTS of caramelized onions
- Garlic powder, salt and pepper
- Celery for serving because it’s the reliable dip vehicle!
How to make it
One of the things that Worth keeping about this dish is that it is STRAIGHTFORWARD and comes together quickly. Well, you do have to caramelize the onions which takes a bit, but it’s SO STRAIGHTFORWARD and completely worth it.
Start out by prepping the onions: slice them into thin strips and place them into a large skillet with olive oil over medium heat. Stir every few minutes, cooking for about 35-40 minutes until they reach a nice deep golden brown color. Set aside.
The rest of the dip comes together in a food processor by blending together the sour cream and tofu + spices before adding in the caramelized onions. And that’s it! Especially unfussy!

Any leftovers can be stored in the fridge for straightforward snacking throughout the week! I like to portion this out into single servings so that I can grab it with a handful of celery sticks and enjoy while I’m getting work done. Such a simple and healthy snack!
That’s all for today! Thank you again to Duda Farm Fresh Foods for sponsoring this post and THANK YOU for supporting the brands that make my blog possible!
